How Passion Influences the Way You Deal with Stress
Let’s talk about passion and its relation to stress. Being passionate and pushing yourself too hard in a certain direction will bring tremendous stress in your life followed by big regrets about the way people treat you and the situations that you attract. According to one of the most popular online google searches passionate is defined as “filled with or showing great emotion”. In other words, putting so much emotion in different causes in life may lead to more stressors for you on a daily basis.
Emotions are our triggers to the goals we have set up in our life or the fuel which will make our drive possible, so when we have passion and devotion for what we do that will help us achieve better results. However, excessive emotions related to our actions and results may lead us to health problems and diseases. This is also true for suppressed emotions and feelings. Case studies show that almost 97% of the human population on Earth suffer from suppressed emotions, which are the number one cause for thyroid gland diseases especially when it is related to women because women are more sensitive and more emotionally involved to life than men.
We were trained by our parents in our childhood to suppress our emotions in order to be accepted and beloved and we follow that pattern of behavior almost all our lifetime. Like everything in the Universe suppressed emotions are not better or worse than super expressed ones, because it is good to preserve and maintain our inner peace avoiding the extremes of any kind and maintaining our balance within and without. So, being on the medium scale between these two emotional states is preferable if we want to live with passion in life and at the same time to maintain our energetical equilibrium and inner calm.
Being too suppressed or pushing yourself too much to live the life you want is not a smart approach to your daily routine because it will bring you more stress, struggles and contradictions on a long-term basis. To overcome being too pushy and touchy in the past was one of my great life lessons and I had to go through the entire process of educating and transforming myself, so that I could finally find out that there is a way to brake this vicious circle and improve my attitude to life, becoming aware that I am that I am and there is nothing wrong with that, because when you accept yourself the way you are, you will be supported by the Universe to further develop and evolve spiritually and following this guidance, you can unfold your life potentials at full.
After many years of struggles I finally found out a simple practice, which helped me to solve the “passion problem” and this was my turning point in life. Each time I feel there are huge emotions involved or butterflies in my gut I asked myself this question: “What could happen if I accept myself just the way I am, not trying to be so up and high and just keeping my energy creative at the present moment of my life?”
This self-questioning practice helped me return and stay on track, enjoy the present moment and appreciate life beauty in a natural, non –persistent and stress-free way. You can start right now to practice the self-acceptance model of behavior in your life journey if you want to create a peaceful and abundant life. Do this practice each time you feel something is not the way you want it to be and try to accept yourself at each and every moment of your life time.
Feel gratitude and appreciation that you were born on the planet Earth, that you are alive and present here now and that you can create and achieve all you want from life. Remember that the way you operate with things in life is an indicator of the energy you put out in the Universe. The Universe always responds and brings more and more of the energy you emit. This is the way to create abundance or misery in life.
You are the master of your reality and by changing yourself you change your attitude to life: thus you can bring more powerful positive changes in all areas of your life and you can become a master creator by being more centered and balanced, more clearly focused on what you really want to have at your disposal throughout your life journey on the spaceship of Mother Earth.
