How to Overcome your Negative Body Image to Live a Stress-free Life
Let’s talk how to overcome your negative body image in order to reduce your daily stress to a great extent and in an easy way. Our body is the physical vehicle we use throughout our lifetime on the planet Earth, so it is crucial to understand its messages properly and take care of it in order to feel healthy, centered and balanced day after day enjoying the journey itself not only aiming at the destination from point A to point B.
The body “speaks” its own language and shows us what is wrong and what is Ok to take and undertake but we usually tend to ignore it, hence the final result is accumulating more and more stress day after day which leads in a long term perspective to exhaustion and depression, anxiety and overwhelm. But it could be different if we attune ourselves to our core values and start to listen to what our body tells us because like everything in the Universe we are a living and walking vibration and every body cell vibrates on a certain frequency that is merging in the frequency band of Love.
Through the feelings of Love, Gratitude and Appreciation we can accept and transform the feelings of disappointment and even despair from our confusing reality on the physical level. We can simply allow these feelings to be recognized, thanking them and releasing them with ease and grace. Then we can fill the released inner space with that new connection to our core essence which lays just below the physical field. So we can simply reunite ourselves with the Energy Of All That Is which is the base foundation of the Cosmic Field and that will result in living a happier and more meaningful life.
Decades of diet culture have trained us to be very critical to our own body and that of the other women and to compete, judge and criticize ourselves as “good” or “bad” based on our physical body appearance and on the food we take. But the things have completely changed and some of the so called healthy foods turned out to be not so healthy as they were advertized. We also tend to believe that our heath, attractiveness and happiness depend on our close attention to managing our bodies in one or another way.
As a fitness instructor I know from my own experience that the way you sculpt you physical body has a lot to do with your self-image and the little voice in your head that whispers “You are not good enough! Look at her body! You are worse that her: she looks younger, she is fit and lean, so she is better than you!” This was a part of my own story and the movie that went on autopilot in my head- but maybe it has something in common with every woman in the world and at the same time every human being is unique, because we all differ in one way or another and there is not another body that looks exactly as mine.
What I understood after so many years of trainings was that: if you want to be happy, just happy without any particular reason and if you want to live in abundance, the first thing you have to deal with is changing your mindset from sorrow to joy and from lack to abundance as a natural state and birthright of your being. What I mean by that is very simple: YOU ARE NOT YOUR BODY! YOU ARE NOT YOUR FEELING OF LACK AND SORROW! YOU ARE NOT EVEN YOUR MINDSET! YOU ARE MUCH MORE THAN THIS!
You are a unique human being having its own experience on the planet Earth and using the physical body as a vehicle in the 3rd dimensional reality. When you neglect your body, comparing it with others, judging and criticizing yourself and others this will cause you more stress and anxiety on a daily basis, will lead to many misunderstandings and problems. The same game will be replayed again and again focusing each time on what is better or worse within yourself as compared to other women: the final result will be your efforts to “get it right” in a very hard way measuring your calories, weight and dress size in order to fix the problem and live a better life.
Overcoming your negative body image, recognizing and appreciating your unique physical body appearance as it is is one of the biggest challenges in our lives. I don’t mean that you should avoid any physical activities or stop making efforts to help your body look healthy and fit. I just want you to understand that you are unique and fabulous just the way you are and a lean and toned body can help you feel more secure and “good enough” to overcome life challenges. So how can we train ourselves to overcome our negative body image so as to reduce our daily stress? I found out a simple way to do it just by remembering how different and unique we all are.
Remember that we are all meant to look differently and there is no one with the same physical body matrix like yours in the entire Cosmic field! So, if you can just be gentle to yourself and start noticing your thoughts when you look at other people so that to immediately stop the compare-and- judge process beginning in your head, you will get to feel Love for just being present here NOW.
This is the way to heal yourself from both neglecting your body look or taking too much care for it. When you create a true image of self-worth, that will open the gates to abundance in all areas of your life because when your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies are all in balance you are aligned to the Energy Of All That Is and you are ruling your own journey as a Master and Co-creator of life overcoming the role of the Life Victim and using life challenges in a better and more constructive way.
Right now is the time for you to start practicing this process in order to change the negative image of your physical body and live a stress-free life through a better understanding how to create and operate with a better self-worth image and how to co-create a better world. Remember to do this each time you feel you are losing your temper or when you are comparing yourself with another woman in order to see which one is better; or when you feel ashamed of your physical body appearance because as you know “Loving your body is a great feeling that helps you heal yourself and heal the world!”
