A Better Self-Image can Reduce the Daily Stress


When you have a better self-image that you hold deep within yourself you become the real master of your life journey and you live a fulfilled life without stress and daily struggles. Good self-esteem means that you feel comfortable in your own skin: you know who you really are; you like, love and trust yourself because you feel capable of doing everything you want in life and you are a positive thinker “by default”. When you think positively about life you emit vibrations of higher frequency all around you attracting more of the same high quality vibrations back into your surroundings.

Attracting more and more positive people and situations through your appropriate attitude to life makes you become a true master of your reality and live a stress-free and fulfilled life. It also means that you can easily express yourself or ask for what you need without feeling uncomfortable doing it. You can easily manifest everything you desire because /as Abraham-Hicks state in their book “Ask and it is given”/ you know “how to position yourself” in alignment with your mission on the planet Earth. If you maintain such positive attitude to life in all circumstances and conditions no matter what, it will be much easier for you to attune yourself to the Cosmic Intelligence and become a life Co-creator. If you have already the foundation of a positive and supportive family and friends, you are used to surround yourself with people who share the same views.

Sometimes life is more complicated than we expect it to be because of the lessons we must learn from its challenges and trials, but it all depends on one’s view to see the glass of water half full or half empty. When you expect to encounter life difficulties as blessings /as we always go through trials in our life time/, you do not allow your energy to be drained out from you, you are prepared and do not loose your temper, because you know that you have created all this stuff in your life, so you take the full responsibility for it and in fact, you are the only person who can deal with this situation in order to bring back your balance.

Being the only beloved child in a big family my parents taught me that everything in life was possible, but you have to work hard in order to succeed , and you must become a strong and honest member of the society expecting others to have the same attitude to life. I have grown with the view that to be a good person means to give more than you receive and to get proficiency in every area of your life, because other people will accept and appreciate you only if you are” well-educated and do not lose face.

Being perfect in everything you do and having many skills and talents developed sounds great, but as I have tried it for many years, I can tell you that it is hard and stressful to attain it through conscious efforts, strong discipline and depriving yourself of pleasure in life. Then one day something happened with my eyes. I knew the reason: I had taken a bigger burden than I could carry; I felt tired of having too many responsibilities and “jobs” in life at that time.

As a professional aerobic and callanetic instructor I knew that only my dancing classes were the antidot against the exhaustion I felt and my physical body gave me a signal through my eyes to change my lifestyle if I wanted to be healthy and happy. This was a sign for me to start looking for and seeing something I did not wanted to notice at that moment. In fact, that was the turning point in my life, so that to make my first step on the path of personal development and growth. The same day I realized that the problem was not physical but spiritual (it has nothing to do with my eyes but with the lesson I had to learn). So, I had to stop and see what was happening around and how to change the direction in my life. My eyes were only the trigger that I needed to assume and look forward to the new coming into my surroundings.

If there is an area in your life which is not functioning well, it means that other areas are also influenced by this area and they could go in a wrong direction. By the way, it was very hard for me to understand this during my first seminar on personal development and growthmany years ago. Now we are living in a new world where things are completely different than before and people are much better orientated and informed than in the past.

However, there is a turning point in everyone’s life when no matter how positive you think and how healthy you live, something triggers you to do a change in your reality in order to go on the next level of your life journey and release all that no longer serves you. This is not about your professional skills and knowledge, it has nothing to do with your perfectionism at home and your abilities to do your life duties; the real cause of this process is connected with changing your life perspective toward becoming a human “being” instead of being a human “doing”: living in the present having enough courage to be authentic and to be natural enjoying the uniqueness of your being and the beauty of such beautiful moments as observing the sunset or having a cup of coffee with your closest friends.

In my case, I was in a perfect physical shape, but I had a lot of mental chatter in my head and was very logical and technically orientated according to my primary education and job experience. However, after the “crisis” with my eyes I got aware that I needed to make some conscious changes in my daily routine in order to face and then resolve the serious eye problem I had, and if I wanted to live a better life.

Have I managed to cope with my eye problem during my first seminar on personal development and growth?

No I have not, because I was very attached to the final result and wanted to resolve the problem at once! In fact, healing is a continuous process, so I continued to work on my eyes for years after that, applying also the Silva Mind Control with the support of one of my mentors. She was an amazing woman, who had survived cancer. We were doing a lot of practices and daily meditations at the privacy and comfort of her home: at that time I was not so focused to work on that particular problem and I was allowing things in life to happen in a non-persistent way. But that turned out to be my first “change” to see that there was a natural life beauty at every moment of my life and it was not a competition every single day. Thus I became more aware of all things I “wished to do” instead of the “must do” things which I had on my long busy day program.

So how can you avoid such “drama- experiences” to happen to you in order to ring the bell and awaken you? How can you master your life without the need to pass through such painful and long-lasting process of transformation? How could things become easy, effortless and enjoyable for you (the three Es)? It could be quite simple as everything authentic in life and based on my own experience I can highly recommend this new approach to follow if you really want to have a stress-free life. If you apply these 2 simple tips I am going to share with you below, you will “allow yourself” to reduce your daily stressors to a near zero level.

Each time you feel you are doing too many things at once or you are going very different jobs because you have the abilities and skills to work with many people and handle with different situations in life, or in other words when you are playing too hard with life, remember that simple truth: life could be simple and balanced if you stop for a while and practice these simple things:

1. Move your body for at least 10 min a day, because physical activity can and will reduce your stress and nervous tension coming from your overloaded program; your body will release endorphins that will give you a boost of energy and appreciation of the present moment, which will keep you energized and rejuvenated throughout the day.

2. “Prioritize” the things you are good at and mastering them; what I mean is to start practicing the process of becoming expert or attaining proficiency, as you may have many unique skills and talents but nothing compares with the process of becoming really good at something.

You have to find an area you enjoy to work at and become proficient in it. You can simply improve one of your powerful skills, but remember that one or two is quite enough! Gain more knowledge and mastery to become an expert in one field instead of being satisfactory good at everything. This will give you a better self- image, a clear focus on one thing at a time and when you are focused on just one aim at a time, you can feel that all your energies are in balance and serving you to accomplish what you are doing at the moment, because you have both the abilities and discipline to do it. So, the final result will be that image of greatness which you will have about yourself and taking the full responsibility for your life journey.

Right now it is the time for you to start dealing with your self-image and remodeling it in a way that will improve your life journey and will create your new wonderful reality. After December 2012 we are living in a new dimensional consciousness and we can manifest things in our surroundings easier and faster than before. Now it is the time for you to become a real master of your life and to appreciate the journey itself by creating a better self- image and always holding it deep within yourself.
