How “to Become” a Good Receiver in order to Reduce your Daily Stress


Let’s talk about the “giving-receiving channel” related to the so called Universal Law of Cause and Effect. Finding the balance between giving and receiving is the key to live a stress-free and abundant life. Life was given to us at first and then we can choose and “decide” what to do with our own journey on the planet Earth. Therefore, in general giving stays before receiving and it is obvious that there must be balance between them. To become a good receiver was and still is one of my hardest lessons in life and I often “catch” myself that I was going back through this cycle again and again.

“You must learn to be a good receiver!” – I have heard this phrase many times in my life, especially when I started my journey on the path of personal development and growth many years ago. I was raised in a family that loved me very much and as s single child I had to accomplish a lot of things my parents thought were beneficial for me. They taught me that through hard work and with honesty everything was possible in life and giving was the best way to be a good” human being. Giving more and more, without setting boundaries to it and leading to depletion was the way my parents viewed the process. But each time when I gave more than I had received some “problems occurred to me on a physical level and I had troubles with the left side of my physical body.

After working for many years on my personal development and growth I understood that the left side of the physical body was related to receiving and represents the use of the feminine energy correlated  in the process of giving and receiving. What I found out in retrospective was how exhausting it had been for me to be the “prodigal giver”, because people became “addicted” to this and expected me to take care of everything and resolve each problem instead of them.

We are energetic beings in nature, so it is obvious that the energy we emit attracts these “issues” to us and our surroundings. In fact, we have predesigned and planned what to happen in our life before we were born in order to learn certain lessons in the earthly School of Life. So, it is our responsibility to take account of and learn from all that happens to us.  We are the only ones who have to transform ourselves and evolve making true efforts to raise your vibrations in order to achieve different results in life.

After the planetary shift in December 2012 I had a few deep cleansing processes that showed me which things I had to change in order to improve my life and optimize my reality. I was shown in a very clear way what I needed to review my attitude to life and to accept the new opportunities and “coincidences” which the Universe had provided for me. All people and situations I needed for making the inner transformation “were given” to me and I also received all necessary resources, including the financial support in order to start doing these changes in my surroundings.

If you are awake to observe the powers acting behind the events in life, you may see that there is a Cosmic order and high intelligence in all things that happen in life. So you will readily accept every opportunity and challenge coming to you, simply saying “thank you” and going ahead, because all is related to your life purpose and soul mission on the planet Earth.

In my case I had to go through the same learning cycle many times, and especially to repeat the lesson of “accepting”. Thus I learned to notice the signs and coincidences in life and to receive with gratitude the resources which the Universe had provided for me. Replacing criticism, judgment and blame with acceptance and gratitude was a way to “put down” my pride and humble, recognizing and clearing my limiting beliefs that no longer served me in order to make space for working with the Cosmic intelligent energy for my highest good.

I am trying to learn to be a “good receiver” and start doing my best to “train” myself just to master the process and to respond to gifts and offerings with a smile overcoming the confusion which I felt deep inside myself and “knowing” that I had to give immediately in return in the same way but without conditions and without calculating in my mind the price of the gestures of kindness and Universal support.

Based on my own experience and self-observation work I assure you that practicing the simple technique of expressing daily gratitude and creating, for example, a gratitude journal will help you to do the process step by step without the need to criticize and blame yourself as I did giving or doing just in order to “return” the gesture of giving and then to start feeling comfortable to accept something in return.

Technique description:

Each time when you receive something instead of trying to “return” the gesture of kindness, stop for a while and mentally ask yourself whether you need to return this gesture in order to achieve something in life which makes you feel happy and aligned with your inner self. Observe the feelings and responses in your physical body, because you body never lies and always react or non- reacts according to what is or is not for your highest good.

Listen to your inner guidance and try to accept it without regret that something different could be done, or that you have to do or give something “in return”. Try to do this process for at least 21 days and be aware of what new things and events will enter your life. Be grateful for the changes that will emerge in your life journey and try to accept them without feeling uncomfortable about doing them, but feeling sincerely grateful, happy and blessed.

Success in life is deeply connected to your relationships with others and it is nice to share and exchange your experience and the changes life triggers you to do with people who can support you throughout your way up the scale of raising your consciousness in life: connecting with the people who really care about you, who think and act in a way which coordinates and unites your efforts to make the world a better place to live.

Remember that you are not alone in the process of personal transformation and growth and it is beneficial for you to let go of the beliefs and childhood patterns that no longer serve you if you want to live a fulfilled and stress-free life. Wish you success!
