Living at the present Moment as a Remedy for Stress Relief
Let’s talk about how you can easily release your daily stressors when you are fully present in the moment living on the flow of life. You can have success and happiness in all areas, if you can enjoy the present moment and try to be consciously aware of everything happening in your life, because when you are focused on the present moment you put all your energies in action and they support you and help you achieve all you want from life.
When you “close” yourself to the present moment and start distracting yourself with thoughts about the past or with future visions, you are in fact not present now, so you cannot enjoy the beauty of life moment by moment. By the way, when you spend your time doing a very well known daily routine – you live on auto pilot, making the same things again and again, meeting the same people and living in your comfort zone most of the time: this way you block yourself from the abundance of the Universe and you are not allowing things to happen in your life in a natural and non persistent way. This lifestyle brings you more stress on a daily basis and increases your anxiety and depression, because you spend your time as a “human doing”, not as a “human being”.
Thoughts come and go all the time through your conscious and subconscious mind. Similar persistent thoughts that you hold for a longer time form the basis of your opinions and beliefs. Thoughts are seeds that can grow, if you nurture them, If you let them go, they will pass away as autumn leaves with the flow. Your thoughts may come from different sources or can be self-made, too and they will remain just yours until you let them go out in the form of words and actions!
So, we are responsible for our thoughts, feelings, words and actions, we have to take into accound the impact of what we emit around and we are in power to master and manage all the impac our feelings and actions. When our opinions and beliefs change, sometimes this may cause us discomfort, and feelings of fear and incertainty may arise, especially when we have chosen to play the role of a Life Victim.
Positive thoughts, smart decisions, setting the right priorities in life and doing conscious efforts towards achieving your goals and desires are the things you need to do in order to have all you want from life and improve the “quality” of your journey. It means that you have to be consciously awake and aware of all things that “happen” in your reality applying that simple rule which states: the way you think and the quality of your thoughts determine the actions you do and the way in which you react in difficult life situations.
We are all students in the School of Life and our journey can be awesome or miserable depending on how we understand reality and what meaning we give to people and situations we have to deal with throughout our days. We are responsible for the power our thoughts have over our feelings and actions. Many people consider that we think, feel and act impulsively, that we have no control over these processes and it is natural for us to allow ourselves any conduct or behavior below the surfaces, but when this causes us harm or hurt, then we begin to blame other people for this and abdicate from taking responsibility for the fruits of our thoughts.
Most time the connection between thoughts and feelings which leads to actions is not picked up because we are already on the next thought crossing our mind. So, our mind is a very powerful receiver, transmitter and generator of thoughts. When we choose to be aware of the causes and effects of our actions and when we start to live consciously, the first thing we have to do is to establish this missing link between our thoughts, feelings, words and the resulting behavior.
How can we do this, is there a technique to follow if we want to be consciously aware here now?
I struggled a lot with this issue because as a whole, I am a a logically oriented person and my mind is continuously processing a great number of thoughts, so I have to deal with many things one after the other and day by day, which causes me a lot of tiredness and exhaustion as well as disappointment and discourage every time when the reality is different from what I have expected.
Of course, becoming consciously aware is a process, which is unique for every person, because we are different and react or do not react on different things in life. It was a turning point for me to finally find out that the main reason for accumulating stress in such a way was my thinking process. I have understood that when you take steps to fulfill your soul mission it does not really matter what other people think or say to you. It took me a lot of time, money and conscious efforts to finally realize that and change my attitude to life.
I managed to reduce my stressors by half only after I had replaced all my “shoulds” and “musts” with “I choose to”. e.g. setting up my intentions in my everyday life became a matter of free conscious choice and gradually it turned into a natural state of being. I found out that every experience of ours was born from thought. Our minds are acting too fast to keep up with the corresponding sensations and in this way we miss what these sensations are telling us about “nature” of the thought we hold. And our thoughts could be positive or negative as we are on a journey here on Earth and we live in a duality world.
The only way to register a sensation caused by some thought is by observing the reply in your physical body. The physical body is your temple and you use it throughout our journey on the planet Earth. It is the experimentation laboratory of what you experience because every cell in your physical body will respond to each thought of yours and will give you a feedback about the way you feel in correspondence with the thoughts you hold. So, you can use your body as an indicator helping you to understand the nature of your thoughts, intents and views.
I regularly practice this simple technique which I will share with you now and it provides me with a lot of time for myself, for my family and friends. It also helps me attract harmony and peace, fluency and ease into my life. Observe your thoughts: if a thought makes you feel happy and you sense joy and satisfaction in your physical body, it is an indication that this thought is of higher origin and it will open the doors to the entire Universe for you, aligning you with the universal cosmic rhythm and bringing you peace and harmony in life.
If, at the visit of some thought, you feel angry or frustrated, your “gut instinct” is warning you to be careful: if this thought makes you feel imbalanced and your physical body lets you know that, then do not take any action in this direction. If you feel pain, misery, grief after thinking certain thoughts, try to get aware of them and transform them or let them go. It is advisable to follow the signs of your immediate feedback system functioning through your physical senses, because it will plainly show you whether something is for your highest good or not.
If you think thoughts like: “I am OK!” or “I am thankful for my journey itself!”, it will bring an immediate response from your body cells making you feel well; then, the Universal energy can flow through your body in a very natural way. Thus you can be present at the moment utilizing all your senses and paying attention to your intuition and feelings, so that you can live on the flow!
Being present now is the way to enjoy what you have now, be grateful for it and thus attract more of it, generating abundance in your reality. After the planetary shift in December 2012 we live in new life conditions and we create our new reality at a glimpse of an eye. So, the time for us has come to change our life for better, to be present here now and to live on the flow being happy and fulfilled.
Right now you may start practicing this process of conscious observation and filtering of your thoughts and of becoming aware of your body sensations and responses in order to understand what course of actions to take and whether the Universe will support you. Then, try to repeat many times throughout the day the simple but powerful statement “I am OK!” with confidence, passion and thrust, envisioning how you really live a better, happy, meaningful and stress-free life!
