Honoring Life as a Way of Stress Relief
Let’s talk about how useful and powerful is to honor and appreciate our life day by day if we want to reduce stress and live in peace and joy. One of the biggest daily stress triggers is the lack of honor and life appreciation. In other words this happens when you are not living in the present moment and there is a lack of trust and confidence in how things happen. You always look for “a desired happy future” with the hope that everything will change to better in comparison with what was in the “miserable past” – this way you are not fully and truly present in the current moment of life and infact you are missing it.
Every doubt or misunderstanding, low self-respect or the motto “I am not good or perfect enough!” is the way to attract more of the same in your reality, because this is the life story you believe in and all these negative stuff brings additional stress emotions to deal with throughout your day. When you are in this state you stop the flow of positive things from the outer world, because the supporting and loving Universe we all live in supplies you with more of these “negative junks” and helps you to continue writing your life story in the way you choose it to be. Therefore it is crucial to understand that, if you are in a self-defensive mode, you will create misery and life troubles throughout your way and throughout your day.
On the other hand, if you are allowing things to happen without torching or pushing them and if you really trust the Universe by creating a positive self-image and self-esteem visualizing your desired beautiful and abundant life, you are in a state of allowing and appreciation. Being in an appreciation mode raises your vibrations because you are grateful and thankful for something you have already achieved in life. It may be a person, a situation or a feeling that touched your soul and you know how it feels like to be on the flow. The state of positive and appreciative thinking is not easy to be followed but it can be practiced moment by moment, day by day for just a few minutes a day and if you are wiling to do it and master the process, the results will be great.
I have struggled most of my lifetime trying to do many things in the short time and with best results. For this same reason I had to deal with so many additional stressors that I needed to search for ways and methods to do it. So, finally I found out that if you trusted and appreciated the present moment living it fully and truly, everything and everyone in your reality will shift and will support you in this. I really mean it! And I can assure you that life appreciation is crucial to be applied when it comes to master your being, to have peace and joy without trying to control, fight or surrender life.
Remember, we are on an amazing life journey now and there are infinite ways to go from point A to point B. It has nothing to do with the destination; it’s all about the journey itself: the experience you get, the lessons you learn and the joy you feel along the way, enjoying the trip between the points and having more fun than before.
So how can we allow things to happen without pushing or torching them? I suggest you to practice this technique that helped me many times to stay on track.
1. Breathe deeply for a minute or two.
2. Think about the present moment and see at least one beautiful thing in it.
3. Appreciate this beauty as a part of your daily life.
4. Then think about one thing you are grateful for here now.
5. Try to feel it with your heart and observe the connection through that feeling.
Apply this technique every time you feel stressed or unsecure, tired or overwhelmed. Right now it is time for you to act if you want to live a happy and balanced life. Remember, you can create all you want in life, so choose consciously and attentively what things you would like to have in your reality.
